NOAA Emerging Technologies Workshop 2019 Report
Nearly 400 attendees convened in-person and remotely at the third NOAA Emerging Technologies Workshop (ETW), held on June 25-26, 2019. Hosted by NOAA's three Strategy Councils, the 2019 ETW showcased new and evolving technologies with the potential to advance resilience to extreme weather and water and the Blue Economy. Since 2016, the ETW has continued to grow and add value to NOAA’s Earth observing systems portfolio by identifying new technologies with the potential to advance NOAA’s capabilities to monitor, assess, and predict the environment. In an effort to represent this evolution and foster greater awareness for this event, NOAA published a post-workshop report providing a robust overview of the diverse technologies showcased at the 2019 ETW.
