Data Management Handbook
The Management of NOAA Data and Information Data Management Handbook provides guidance and further details for NAO 212-15B. The intent of the Handbook is to define requirements, track performance objectives and metrics for executives to understand the current state and progress. It also seeks to outline procedures that Assistant Chief Data Officers (ACDOs), data manageers, program managers, project leads, data stewards, archivists and data analysts involved in data life cycle management must take to meet the purpose of the NAO.
The Handbook supercedes the guidance contained in the Procedural Directive documents.
