NOAA Recommended Practice on Specialized NOAA Environmental Satellite-Derived Data, Products, and Services Requested by External Users

This is the official download page for the NOAA Recommended Practice on specialized data requests from external users. It was developed by NOAA's Environmental Data Management Committee (EDMC) to be consistent with the NOAA Report to Congress entitled "A Framework for a Compensation Policy for NOAA to be Reimbursed for Specialized Data Products Derived from NOAA Satellite Imagery and Data." Once the Report to Congress received clearance from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the EDMC approved this recommended practice on August 21, 2013.
